History of the Coke bottle.
Left to Right 1899 – 1900 – 1915 – 1916 – 1957 – 1986
My grandparents met at a “Coke Party,” which was like a mixer where everyone just drank a bottle of Coke.   He was a friend of my grandmother’s brother from the war.  She was engaged to another man at the time.  He walked her onto her train home and didn’t end up getting off in time.  They spent the six hour ride together and were engaged by the end of it.  They were married for 60 some years until he passed away in 2007.

But seriously look at this lopsided owl.

Just watch the 10 seconds or so after 2:43 (tried to embed and start it there but it didn’t work).  From OVERBOARD (1987) starring Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.  Saw it for the first time ever last week.

“A falsetto child?” might be my new favorite line from a movie.  Wish I would ever encounter the context to use it.

Drexel shaft demolition (slo-mo with Imogen Heap).  I heard this happen Sunday morning, but didn’t know what it was at the time!
